ASHRAE has awarded nearly 200 scholarships during the past 20 years totaling more than $925,000. Nineteen scholarships are available for the 2010-11 academic year.  In the HVAC&R industry, economizers are used to reduce heating and cooling costs. The ASHRAE scholarship program also serves as an economizer, helping reduce the financial burdens of obtaining your engineering education.
