"Receiving an ASHRAE scholarship helped enable me to extend my college education to 5-1/2 years and earn a bachelor’s and master’s degree in architectural engineering. Now that I am working for a design-build mechanical contractor, ASHRAE helps to advance my career – whether it’s going to local chapter meetings, referencing the standards, or continuing my education with online courses." Nathan Patrick, Reuben Trane Scholarship recipient
"The scholarship gave me confidence in my career choice and helped me determine my career path. With the support from ASHRAE and its members, I increased my involvement in my student chapter, becoming both an officer and a member of the design competition team. My involvement in ASHRAE contributed my professional development and I plan to continue my participation as a member of industry. Ultimately, ASHRAE has helped me create a strong foundation for my career to build upon and it all started with receiving the ASHRAE Scholarship." Alyssa Adams, Henry Adams Scholarship recipient
