An investment in the ASHRAE Scholarship Program through ASHRAE Foundation is a great way to express your commitment to ASHRAE while ensuring the future of HVAC&R Industry.
The ASHRAE Scholarship Program is designed to encourage and assist HVAC&R education through granting scholarships at the undergraduate and graduate levels. The program also serves the public interest by aiding the education of men and women to become qualified HVAC&R engineers. The Scholarship Program provides individuals, foundations, trusts and corporations an opportunity to assist high-achieving students in engineering education through contributions, grants, bequests and other legal means.
The mission of the ASHRAE Scholarship Program is to motivate students and prospective students worldwide to pursue an engineering or technology career in the HVAC&R field by offering scholarships to provide financial support for their education and training. These scholarships will encourage new members who embrace the ASHRAE mission.
Each year ASHRAE awards 17-19 scholarships worth almost $100.000

Provide for a Scholarship through ASHRAE Foundation in your Will…
Perhaps you would like to consider a scholarship in your charitable planning. A straight-forward bequest can be the answer to many of your charitable giving needs.
You avoid any up-front tax on the gain, thereby putting the asset’s full value to work first for you and ultimately for the ASHRAE Foundation to help perpetuate the most common planned giving arrangement for the benefit of ASHRAE Foundation is the will bequest. Charitable gifts made by will are 100% tax deductible. As with current gifts, bequests may be designated either as unrestricted - providing the most flexibility - or restricted; that is, designated for a specific purpose.
